The first National Bucking Bull Day which took place April 4-5, 2014 at the LINQ in Las Vegas, Nevada was a great success!
National Bucking Bull Day was held in conjunction with the Academy of Country Music’s Party For A Cause® Festival and aid homage to the great animal athletes who compete in one of the fastest growing sports in America.
To honor the bucking bull, Tom Collins, Chairman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and a Clark County Commissioner presented a formal proclamation acknowledging National Bucking Bull Day to host Exclusive Genetics' CEO Billy Jaynes.
Country western singing great Moe Bandy, who has been a four time Academy of Country Music awardee, was on hand for the festivities, not only performing in the center of the bucking bull arena for fans in attendance to enjoy, but also to watch his great bull Bandy’s Bad Boy buck in the Championship.
There was also an important charitable aspect to National Bucking Bull Day, as thousands of dollars were raised during the two-day event to benefit the National Autism Association, Parent Information Center Wyoming and the Academy of Country Music’s official charity Lifting Lives®.
Congratulations to Helene R., winner of a 3 day and 2 night stay at the Jaynes Gang Ranch in the National Bucking Bull Day "Bull Buck Off" Sweepstakes.
