At the first 3 tour stops of the year, BBG will host an open underdog class that will be for bulls that have never scored over 84, but starting with Tour Stop 4, BBG will cancel the underdog class and UBBG is adding an open Minor League class for bulls that have never scored over 86.  As stated below, the plan is to split bulls up even more so that there will eventually be three minor league classes (two at this years UBBG Mid Summer Finale).  One of the driving forces behind the new UBBG tour is to create more classes where more bulls can become winners.

The Mid Summer Finale will be an invitational event with no entry fees for the top 75 bulls (100% of bulls that qualify will win a minimum of $1,000) in the Regular Season standings. Last year we had a purse of $250,000 with no entry fees which was generated from bulls paying a $500 qualifying fee at each event that the bull wanted his score to count toward standings. In 2018, in order for a bull to be eligible for the Mid Summer Finale, the bull must attend a minimum of 7 regular season events and pay the qualification fee 7 times. Bulls can enter any class at regular season events, and not pay qualifying fee, and just compete for that events prize money, but that event will not count as one of the 7 the bull must attend and his score will not count toward his MSF standings. This year the total money raised will be divided between 3 classes (Major League Class-50%, Minor League-Triple A Class-30% and Minor League- Double A Class-20%) so if $250,000 is raised then $125,000 will go to the Major League class, $75,000 to the Minor League-Triple A Class and $50,000 to the Minor League- Double A Class. At the end of the regular season the bull’s class will be determined by his place in the MSF standings which is determined by the bull’s average score (The top 35 bulls in the MSF standings will go to the Major League class, Bulls in 36th- 60th place will go in the Minor League-Triple A class, and bulls in 60th-75th place will go into the Minor League- Double A class). The bulls average will only be determined from BBG regular season events and from the bulls best 7 scores when bull paid Qualifying fee.

Also at this years Preliminary and Finals (same week) there will be two classes. The Major League class (for bulls that have ever scored over 86 or bulls that have not established a 5 event average or bulls that want to enter up! Into the higher class. Minor League bulls can enter up but Major League bulls can not enter down. The Major League Class will receive 65% of the total purse. The Minor League class will be for bulls that have been to a minimum of 5 regular season or later scheduled BBG events and never scored over 86 points and have established a 5 event average of 86 or less. A Minor League bull must designate that he will compete in Minor League class at Preliminary and Finals or designate that they wish to compete in Major League class when entering the Preliminary and Finals event.

Every bull will be allowed to pay two mulligan fees of $250 during BBG's Regular season.  A mulligan fee is when other organizations (ABBI, UBBI or BTCA) have an event the same weekend as a BBG event and the owner wants their bull to attend that event instead of the BBG event.  The owner must notify the BBG office by the Friday before the event that they wish to pay a $250 mulligan fee and have the score at the non-BBG event count toward's the bull's average score for the BBG Season standings.
